He began as an installer and ultimately worked for a large dealer that focused on high end residential and commercial installations. He went into warehouse operations of floor covering. Continued to expand his floor covering knowledge while dispatching to installers, scheduling, Job site supervising of installations, hiring installers, contract estimating, product specification, and was Operations manager for one of the largest commercial floor covering companies in Michigan. Frank owned a floor covering operation before becoming an FCITS certified inspector in 1995. As a full time inspector repairs are also preformed; carpet repairs, corrections, restretches, reburls, spot dying, moisture testing, shearing, steaming, pile lifting.
