This class has been highly acclaimed and has been attended by mills, inspectors and numerous others. We teach you to mix dyes from scratch and to match any color of carpet. When you are finished with this class, you will be an expert at mixing dyes to match a carpet color. You will also be trained to spray the dye to solve the sidematch issue. Come prepared to be a SideMatch Pro. A kit that includes a sprayer, a traveling toolbox on wheels and all of the supplies needed will be offered as an option. You can leave this class with the knowledge and equipment to increase your financial situation tremendously. At the end of this class, you will take a test and, if passed, you will receive a certificate as an AFS Certified SideMatch Pro. This class offers 2 IICRC CEC Fee - $1400 Test and Certification - $100 AFS Certified Commercial Carpet Inspector Spring of 2010 At this time, we have certified approximately 90 commercial inspectors. I said that we would certify 100 and quit there. But, we have discussed it and the mills still need more commercial inspectors. We have several states where we have no AFS Certified Commercial Carpet Inspectors. So, we need to fill those openings. Sometime this next Spring, Shaw Industries has agreed to conduct another training for AFS. So, please contact me if you are interested. Fred Gamble at fgamble@wavecable.com. I will be adding dates, times and location as I get the information completed. AFS Advanced Commercial SideMatch Pro Summer of 2010 Since I started training inspectors to do sidematch corrections, I have planned a commercial class. In my SideMatch Pro class, we teach how to understand color, mix dyes from powdered dyes and how to color blend residential carpet. But, there is nothing taught about correcting different dyelots, correcting solution dyed carpet, correcting texture related issues, using permanent markers, using chalk and so many other tips and tricks that are available to us. In the last three years, it seems that markers, chalk, steaming, pile lifting and texurizing the pile has become a large part of my work. I'll share all of that with you at this class. This will most likely be a 3-day class. If I get enough to fill more days, I'll post that and send it to you. If you have questions, fgamble@wavecable.com |
